top 5 of my own writing from 2012
The IRL Fetish in The New Inquiry
The Facebook Eye in The Atlantic
Against Ted in The New Inquiry
Pinterest and Feminism at Cyborgology
Speaking in Memes in The New Inquiry
seems pretty obvious from this list that The New Inquiry was a big part of my 2012 - special thanks to all of them, especially Rob Horning, who edited my essays. those three TNI essays ended up with me live on the radio with CBC’s Q program, live on the air on NPR’s The Kojo Namdi Show (broadcast live to DC), and Al Jazeera English television. The IRL Fetish essay was covered widely, even at The New York Times. i hope to see lots more of them in 2013, especially as the conference i run with PJ Rey moves up to their home, NYC, in March.
